Felix Huang, Co-founder & Head of Community
Founder & former Managing Director of Recognize Studios, Founder of Radikal Forze Jam Hip-Hop Festival, Co-founder of Jam Republic. Felix is a veteran of the Asian and Global urban dance scene. As the leader of Singapore’s pioneering breakin’ dance group, Radikal Forze, he created and ran one of the largest and most culturally significant urban dance events in the world for the past 10 years. Regularly attracting thousands of dance tourists from over 40 countries to Singapore every year, including some of the world’s most renowned performers, trendsetters, and up and coming global stars within the dance community. Felix is also co-founder of Jam Republic – one of the world’s largest networks of dance studios – and is owner of Recognize Studios, Singapore’s #1 urban dance studio.
Chaithanya Kamath, VP Product
CK is a seasoned product professional with over a decade of experience in building multimillion dollar free-to-play social gaming, educational, and entertainment products at companies such as Zynga, WMS, Wooga, Da Vinci (Azoomee), and recently at Huuuge games. With a background in software development, product systems design & development, behavioral modeling, and launching products “to the moon”.
CEO Asia and a co-founder of Paxos. Since helping start Paxos in 2012, Rich has worked extensively with players in the blockchain industry. Prior to that, Rich has more than a decade of experience analyzing and investing in financial technology companies through his role as Principal at hedge fund Cedar Hill Capital and at Citigroup IBD’s FIG M&A team.
Co-founder of virtual experience agency The Carrot Collective, former Chief Commercial Officer of gaming company yup.gg and Chief Growth Officer & Managing Director of advertising agency BBH Asia Pacific where he ran regional & global communications for brands Nike, RedBull, Netflix, Uber, Google and Facebook among others. At BBH he ran the team that got BBH Asia Pacific awarded #1 advertising agency globally. He also co-founded and ran the BBH Group’s global content, entertainment & design business, and co-founded the startup Pie, which was subsequently sold to Google.
Quincy D Jones III (QD3)
For more than 30 years, QD3, a noted creative visionary and entrepreneur, has been producing hits in music, film, and digital media/tech, influencing culture with his uncanny sensibility of what’s next.
In music, Quincy is a 40xPlatinum, Grammy Award winning producer/songwriter/engineer, and produced some of the top selling Hip Hop albums of our time including seminal work with Tupac Shakur, Ice Cube, LL Cool J as well as Emmy nominated film & TV composer. His work includes The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Eddie Murphy’s Fox Show PJ’s, Training Day and more. Quincy had a 14 year publishing venture with Windswept Pacific Music where he signed Red Foo/LMFAO, Tech N9ne and songwriters and producers for Tupac, Timbaland, Missy, Will I Am and more. Quincy was also judge on Idol Sweden where he discovered the Idol Sweden 2016 winner Liam during his Quincy Tour segment of the show.
In media, Quincy launched QD3 Entertainment, Inc, in 2001, a leading Urban media company focused on producing engaging content experiences or multiple platforms. The QD3 Documentary Collection grossed $40mil+. Past licensing and distribution partnerships include Comcast, Viacom: Showtime, VH1, Nickelodeon, MTV, BET. Fuse, YouTube, Netflix, Fullscreen, XBox, Weinstein Co, Warner Brothers, iTunes, Walmart, Target and many international outlets. QD3 currently controls one of the largest independently owned footage libraries of iconic Urban music artists including Kanye West, Tupac, Dr Dre, Jay Z, Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Lauryn Hill, 50 Cent and more.
In tech, QD3 has a life long passion for technology, is a pioneer in Urban digital media, and Founder of WeMash, an Andreessen-Horowitz backed media rights platform.
Jonathan Teo is an angel investor focused on supporting entrepreneurs innovating on enterprise and consumer products and infrastructure. In 2014 he founded Binary Capital, a 300M early stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco. Previously, Jonathan was Managing Director at General Catalyst and a Principal at Benchmark Capital in Silicon Valley. He has led early stage investments in Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Toss (Viva Republica), Patreon and Bitfury, among other consumer and blockchain focused companies. In 2016, Forbes Magazine named Jonathan to its prestigious Midas Brink List.
Tim is currently Head of Technical Programme Management at Uber. He has been building products and teams for the past 15 years, including launching an education company, leading product in a YC-backed augmented reality company, and honed his skills for software development by building a community analytics platform working with the government that had millions of MAU. Most recently he co-founded and led a software development team in a venture backed company in gaming and esports as the CTO/Co-Founder.
Simon is a former Global Vice President at Nike. A consumer focused brand leader with 25 years of experience driving quantifiable results in all global markets. During his 23 year career at Nike he excelled in driving complex turnarounds, building brand equity and innovating consumer engagement models to grow business value and return for shareholders in each of Nike’s major markets. Simon is currently working with the sustainable lifestyle hospitality brand – Potato Head, as the Chief Experience Officer. He is also a Strategic Advisor to Ruby Pseudo – a cutting edge youth insights agency that helps lead brave brands into new territories.
Carl is a serial entrepreneur and owner of Norberg Studios, a diversified entertainment powerhouse pursuing disruptive opportunities at the intersection of technology, media and entertainment. Carl is also founder and CxO of Turnpike Group, a wearable tech company and leader in the development of technology for front line staff. Between 1998-2012, Carl founded and ran three digital media & advertising agencies working for global brands such as Microsoft, Adidas and Justin Bieber. All three agencies were acquired by major listed media/advertising networks: Publicis Worldwide, Aegis Media and Leo Burnett. Back in 2005 he Co-founded Vice Scandinavia. Carl is also involved in philanthropy work and sits on the board of NonViolence Foundation/Licensing. Lives in Stockholm.
Mari is a dance actress who played the main female dance lead in step up 2, step up 3d, step up 4: miami heat, and step up all in movie series. She spends her free time coaching up up orphanages, juvenile correctional facilities & youth-at-risks in different countries around Asia. She has worked with artists like jamie foxx, black eyed peas, Big daddy Kane, Timbaland, 50cent, Large Pro, Marley Marl, DJ Scratch, Evil Dee, Craig G, Patti Labelle, cascada.
